Raids uncover guns, cocaine and heroin
A PROPERTY in Bootle was raided by Merseyside Police following a shooting incident in Liverpool.
Four children and their parents were sleeping when their home in Cherry Lane, Walton, was attacked earlier this month.
A masked gang of five threw a brick through a downstairs window as a hole was blown in the front door by a shotgun blast.
No-one was hurt.
Two houses on Betula Close, Walton, and one in Antonio Street, Bootle, were subsequently raided by police Matrix officers.
In Antonio Street officers found guns and bags of cocaine. An 18-year-old man, a 15-year-old boy and a 48-year-old woman were all arrested.
At one of the properties on Betula Close, officers recovered a significant amount of what is believed to be crack cocaine and heroin. It has now been sent off for testing.
Two men, aged 75 and 23, and two youths, a boy and girl both aged 16, were all taken into custody.
